Eclipse (aka Ernie) is an experienced well trained horse with floating movement and a large stride. He has a quiet disposition under saddle and gentleman's ground manners; he truly is a gentle giant!
In 2005 Ernie qualified for the CET Medal Finals in Toronto with the following placings:
Flat - 1st place
Gymnastics - 5th place
Jumping - 6th place
Overall Placing - 4th
He has been successfully shown up to a 1.20m by junior riders at Spruce Meadows (both indoor & out), RMSJ, Paramount, Rivervalley and many more.
Ernie is currently being ridden on the flat by an adult amateur. On the flat or for dressage he would be suited to any level of rider. Over fences Ernie prefers a confident intermediate/professional rider with quiet hands.
